一般社団法人 助けあいジャパンでは、地震などの災害時に活用できる移動式トイレトレーラーの普及に取り組んでいます。
インターネットで購入資金を募集し、東日本を中心に約300の自治体から問い合わせが相次いでいます。
昨年2017年には、静岡県富士市でクラウン度ファンディングで資金募集を開始し、9月に目標金額を達成。新年度からの導入も決まっています。
トレーラーは1台1,300万円で様式推薦トイレ４基を搭載し、バッテリー電源と照明が完備されているため、夜でも安心して利用できます。
汚水タンクは下水道のマンホールとパイプで繋げば処理することも可能です。
さらに全国各地の自治体から関心の声が寄せられ、 今後の活動の広まりに期待されています。
